I've come across Frogg Toggs water resistant/camouflage gear at a fishing store.
I like the looks and the weight, but am very much concerned with the "crinkle" factor (noise).
Does anyone out there have any experience with this stuff?
Is it noisy in the field? Is it as water proof as they claim?
I need a new suit for turkey season and thought this was an economical choice.

I used them while hunting last November. Yes they are noisy; however, so was I walking thru the bush. I was more worried about shredding them on sticks and branches - I didn't, but feel I was just lucky. The positive side is that they are watertight and breath well (didn't sweat in them at all). Best of all it's light as hell - you could carry them in a pack all day long and not notice the weight.
