Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum and new to the firearm community. To begin, I should say I woke up one day and realized I was an adult and I had the freedom to get a rifle/firearm, pending a license. The idea of hunting in the midst of nature, shooting games and target practice drew me to firearms. It's truly a positive use of my time when I go to the range and shoot trap or targets. Getting a firearms license and a rifle is one of the most enjoyable decisions I've made in my life. It doesn't stop there. I am really interested in how firearms work, the use of different materials, mechanisms, etc. It all seems so elaborate. I'm glad to be a part of this forum and I thank those who have created such a useful conduit for firearms enthusiasts to share thoughts and seek advice. I look forward to sharing knowledge with all of you and having pleasant relationships. Thanks for reading and take care.

Thank you for all your welcomes. Trust me I am with you on the addiction part. I bought a cz 858-2 for my first rifle and I almost immediately bought a remington shotgun. Now I'm tossing and turning waiting to get my first pistol. I feel like a kid again!
