I'm building a new 10.5" AR for CQB. I have an A.R.M.S #40 rear sight but unfortunately discovered that my A.RM.S #41 Silhouette flip-up / gas block replacement will not fit in my shorter build where it requires a low profile gas block that fits underneath the handguard. Therefore I need a rail mounted flip-up front sight.
From my research the feedback for the A.R.M.S. #71 rail mounted flip up is mixed. Some saying that when it flips up sometimes it doesn't come up completely. Does anyone have it here? Or has anyone had a different combination to recommend?
And maybe a dumb question but it should align correctly with my #40 rear sight? I had no problems with my #40 shooting well with a regular A2 sight post.
