Hi there. Just have a quick little question about a front sight. I have a rifle and it shoots high. Rear adjustable sight is down as far as it will go (sight elevator is removed), and it has an adjustable front sight (windage only). Anyways, the question that remains is I am looking for a new higher sight for the front, and see a couple listed here, but how are they measured heightwise? Is it measured from the bottom of the dovetail to the top tip, or is it measured from the top of the dovetail mount to the top of the sight. I would hate to buy one only to find out it is teh same. As well, once I have it measured properly, how much higher of a new sight should one buy? If it makes any difference, it is a rimfire that shoots approximately 3" high at 30 yards. Thank you.
