Front sight ramp ID on a milsurp

Hello everyone,

I am trying to identify this front sight ramp that is mounted on one of my Carcanos that was converted for hunting purposes (not by me, I promise). I am exploring the possibility of reinstalling it properly on the barrel as well as adding a front sight hood as it looks to have cuts on both sides of the front sight post. Searching through google images hasn't turned anything up, I would appreciate some assistance in IDing it.

Well I managed to find out what this sight is, apparently it is a "Williams Streamlined Dovetail Ramp". I just ordered a replacement front sight blade as well as a sight hood so I can't wait to get this up going again .

I wouldn't - stress at the muzzle is marginal.

It looks like the base of the sight is somewhat soldered on with some welding beads on the edges.

The gent who used this rifle previously took a number of deer with it.
