An IDPA membership eh.. let me read up on that , im still interested in doing IDPA i just really dont think i have the experience with my pistol yet to do it . Is it a really involved course ?

Also does it necessarily have to be a super expensive holster ?

You been out to watch us a few times, the next step is to try it out yourself.

As for an expensive holster, not needed. 1topgun uses a fobus for his MP and it meets with all IDPA holster requirements. It only cost him $30.00.

We will be running a classifier on October 16th then the Fall match on the 30th I'd say now's a good time to take the course.

Whats the costs for the course ? and how long does it run for , i notice it starts at 9 am .

And its really ok to do IDPA even if i may not be proficient with my firearm ?

I also should have asked does being in / participating require me to travel outside of Ontario and or to the United States ?

Well, as a new FRPC IDPA member, you will have to take us to Vegas at least twice...then there's the Florida trip....

Just kidding - you CAN shoot outside Ontario/Canada, IF you choose to do so. However, you are not required to do so. Many of us only shoot at the Saturday morning matches and rarely venture anywhere else. Nothing stopping us, just our choice.

Hey , just signed up on the IDPA website , everything was approved , i copied down all the information . So i guess theyll just send everything to me in the mail in a couple of weeks as well ?

Do you need any information from me at this time for the course ?

Proficiency comes through practice. I know the club rules so you have shot a few times.

PM inbound

You forgot the Texas trip, or is that the one we're not supposed to talk about?
