Just wondering if anyone knows a source for loading data for the Frontier 174gr FN.

I just picked up a box from Higginson's and am looking for an informal target/plinking load. Have been using the Remington bulk 180gr SP (0.310) over 42gr of Reloder-15. This give about 2350 fps and about 3" at 150yds.

Figure I can probably use the same charge, just not sure of the OAL as the bullets are quite differently shaped.

I've been working with them some. Probably won't buy more.
Haven't got my book here but I've tried light loads and loads a couple of grains below my normal loads.
Length is odd - they are very short bullets, I've been seating them deep enough in the neck for reasonable tension, about a bullet diameter deep or a bit more. OAL is very short. I'll check my book and post the measurement.

I've had very inconsistant results - last time I tried them, I would shoot a 5 shot group and have 4 holes in the target - 3 or 4 inch group. Had several groups like that, don't know where the other bullet goes.
 
same charge should work. try seating them as close to the lands as you can, and still operate from the magazine
