I just got my first batch of Frontier 115gr 9mm bullets from Marstar and they look great. I can't wait to load and try them. One question though for anyone who has loaded them. What do use as an overall length when the bullets are seated. All I can go by is what looks "normal". I think 1.140" is about right but I would like to hear some other opinions.

I go use the constant COL of 1.100. and 4.2 gr of titegroup... works very accurately from a Glock17 and a WaltherP99.
10 shots within 2" @ 25 yards.

oh.. and hey...
how many bullets did you get, what type are they ( FMJ,JHP...) and how much did you pay?
manufacturers name? or where they bulk?

Im always looking for a cheaper price....

Oh yeah RePete, they are beautiful. I split an order with a guy at work and we got 1000 each of the frontier 115 gr 9mm copper plated (CMJ) bullets from Marstar. The total came to $134 with shipping. If we like them we will be putting in a bigger order right away.

Poor guy. When he opened the big box he found that the two smaller boxes inside had split. He had to sit down and count them out. I get into work and I have ten ziploc bags on my desk with 100 bullets each in them. Even the non shooters thought they looked really pretty. I can't wait to get them loaded and give them a go.

I have a pile of W231 that I have been using so I will stick with it for now.

Did you mean $134.00 without shipping and tax?

No. Final bill (I was told) was $134, shipping and tax included.

I paid $67 for my share of the order. That was for 1k of the 2k bullets ordered.

I just checked the price on the Marstar site($67), I think we'll double check our math. I'll get back to you this evening.

Today at work we checked my buddy's card history and there was the $25 charge for shipping and taxes. I owe him another $12.50 for the bunch to bring the total to $79.50 for 1k bullets.
