I know there are some F2000 enthusiasts around here that dream of doing the HK slap without busting the factory plastic charging handle... I found a bicycle store in Texas called Piper Sports that manufactures aluminum charging handles and can ship them to Canada. Total out the door is about $95 USD.
I'd say even get one if you don't own an FS2000 but plan on buying one someday because parts are hard to comeby as of late.
