I'm having compatability problems with a UTG floating quad rail I wanted to install on my FS556. The UTG barrel attachment doesn't fit with the threaded end of the FS556 so I'm looking to see if other owners have used Fab's own float tube and rails or if they've tried other tubes. Fab has emailed me to say that it will work with a Yankee Hill handguard so I may go that route.

Just want to know what others are doing and if they've had any issues.

I'm using a YHM lightweight free float tube, leftover from my AR15 build.
The issue with not using the proprietary FS556 handguard is that the top rail will be slightly lower than the FS556 receiver rail. So i put a "gas block-height" front sight. However, i haven't had the time to sight in the buis set.
