FS556 range report anyone?

I've tried several times to do a search for the FS556 stock that Fab Sports sells. I couldn't find a single thread started by anyone who actually has one and said what they think about them. Considering they are sold out I'm assuming a few have made their way into the hands of a couple of CGNers. ;)

Let's hear what you think of them now that you've had them for awhile!

ya good post, i would like to see them as well. Maybe he only had 1 for sale, who knows. They sure look nice on his site :)
 
im glad i didnt buy one in aug, was supposed to be out in Sept 08. Thats a long wait , like waiting for xmas
 
I spoke a few days ago with Fabrice. He's expecting the first production batch to ship out sometime this month (February 09). The problem occurred last december. He told me that the threading (for the AR barrel nut) had been damaged in the anodizing process. Now I don't if that first batch has been scrapped or if they went back to the machinists to get fixed. Anyway, it's a delay in production. We'll have them soon... i hope.
 
Here it is... sorry for the bad pics (insufficient lighting). I'm in a hurry, so I will post better pics, specs and review later on.
In summary: this is the best AR-style stock out there. Much cooler than the RB Evo and much more solid than the Nordic.

What's the length of the FS part from the barrel chamber to the beginning of the threads for the stock?

I'm getting one very soon, and I need to know what stocks I can use. I ordered a custom barrel (11.5"!)

o LOP Adjustment Range: 3.8 in.

Well here's my review...
Had the chance to shoot with it ... works perfectly fine.
All in all, this is the best looking AR-style adapter for the 10/22. I tried the Krinker, the RB Evo and Nordic.
As you can see the ARMS#22 rings fit tight... and this is the non-perfect version, with the top rail slightly narrower than spec.
Only gripe is that the handguard rail doesn't align with the receiver rail, unless you buy the proprietary handguard from Fabsports. My YHM rail is just a bit lower.
