We finally have more stock of the FTP 9mm Laser Training Catridges. This is our newest version (V3) that features a 50ms pulse so the light is visible longer for dry fire and more reliably activates laser targets. To celebrate, we have these on sale right now. Be sure to pick up an extra activator while you are at it as they do wear out from use.

These also make great gifts!

Order on our web site and see more info here: https://fasttoys.net/ca/FTP-Shooting-Sports-V3-Laser-Trainer-Cartridge-9mm/

These are great Christmas presents for yourself or other shooting enthusiasts. Combine then with one of our reactive laser targets and they make dry fire fun! This new version will pulse the laser for a longer 50ms than previous versions. This makes it easier to see the laser on the target.

Be sure to pick up an extra activator tip when you order a cartrige. The activators do wear out over time but unline other brands, you just just buy a new one and not have to replace the whole cartridge!

The light pulse on our new V3 version is longer to make it easier to see. These also work great with the FTP and Keiron laser targets. Make dry fire more fun or teach someone how to shoot at home.

I'm curious about these devices. How well go these align with the sights? Are these about the same "accuracy" as a standard boresighting laser? ie get's you on paper, but not on the bullseye or do they do better than that?

With iron sights, they are pretty much bang on. With an optic, they will be slightly off due to the offset against the bore but still useful for training as the offset remains consistent (Ie. it might be aim an inch high at 7 yards and it will hit the target in the same place every time).

How's this compare to Pink Rhino one?

I have never tried their product so I cannot comment. There definitely are different qualities when it comes to the laser cartridges and our new V3 version has a longer light pulse. We aslo offer replacement activator caps while some other brands require you to buy a whole new cartridge.

Practice at home with your firearm. Our laser catridge projects a laser dot each time the hammer/striker hits the cartridge. Add in a reactive laser target and you can improve your skills while having fun as well!

Our V3 laser trainer is super to those of competitors as we have custom tailored the laser pulse to be longer so the projected dot is more easily seen and it will very reliable trigger reactive laser targets. Laser training is a greay way to supplement your training at home and save money on ammo costs. It is also a lot of fun if you combine it with one of our laser targets.

Would love to hear some user reviews on the cartridge!

I'm an IPSC Grand Master and ranked 3rd in Canada in the open division. I LOVE using laser cartridges for training. They confirm you actually would hit the target an you can make the shots as difficult or easy as you want by varying the distance. I always use a reactive laser target so I know that I have hit the target and it also makes the training fun. You can practice draws, reloads, position changes etc. The best part is you can do all of this at home and save a ton on ammunition. The Keiron Speed target is a favourite of mine as it has a built in timer. Not only do you know you hit the target, but it will also tell you how long it took to hit it. The only part of shooting that laser training does not address is recoil control which you need to do at the range. Everything else, you can do at home.
