Full length rifle or carbine?

I'm thinking of buying an AR-15, and can't decide on the new Norc carbine, or a full 20" bbl. from Stag. I'm all for the classic Vietnam style, triangle forgrips, etc., but I'm also all for the price of the new CQB. Any thoughts?

Get a lower and two uppers. Or one complete rifle and another upper down the road.
I personally wouldn't buy a norc, but some people like them (or at least their price).

I like the look of short barrels, but the blast and noise is RUDE.

Most brands' (non-Norinco) with 16" and longer barrels are welcome to visit the U.S.

Shorter barrels aren't welcome. And neither are Norinco rifles.

Yes for them with a tax fee but no for you on a temp import permit.
