Well as of 6:00 pm today the 2007 Full Monte IPSC techniques course is a matter of history. Man, am I tired! I feel like I've been pulled through a knot hole, but it sure was a fun day for me.
We had 11 people on the firing line (some of them Gunnutz) and without exception everyone exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. Well done and congrats to all! Today was the "fancy" class, or advanced techniques, and even with the huge volume of information thrown at them over this very long day, everyone in attendance made large strides forward and executed very nicely I am proud to say.
Thanks to all who came out and spent a pretty arduous day with me, and thanks to Alex and Dave for assisting. With my back in the condition it was today, it was really great to have the help.
Next time out, I have some plans to improve the information delivery even further, and to minimize the down time for those not actually on the firing line shooting through the drills. It's going to be pretty cool.
