Full Moon..........?

Took my youngest out today for an opportunity for her to use her LEH muley doe draw.
Seen lots of sign, but not a fur to be seen.
One feather and that was remarkable in by itself this time of year and the lack of
them found around here.

Soooo, what's your opinion of the full moon and hunting mulies?
One of the few times I have been out and not seeing at least a doe or two.

I am not keen on hunting during the full moon.
Unless it is very overcast, it is usually quite bright out and
game moves more at night, less in the day.

It seem to me that animals move more in the day close to the new moon.
I may be all wet, but this is my personal observation.

With white tails a few days before and after seem to be better. I've never hunted mule deer

I prefer to hunt during the dark moon, but thats just me. However, the moon is only one factor of many that contribute to good hunting. The weather always plays the bigger role.

I'm not a big fan of hunting during full moon. Was out after work and same thing here didn't even see a doe. Usually like that when the moon is bright.

I generally see less game during full moons as well. Although during the few days of hard rutting action, the lack of a dark moon phase wouldn't keep me indoors.

Sitting in 'Loops right now...saw lots of WT does this morning on my way here from Lethbridge...Didnt see anything close to this city tho....
