I would really like to have both on my shotgun, can't seem to find a rail that would allow attachment of a bayonet underneath. Don't really want to spend 150 to find out it doesn't fit.
Can't see any full length rails just for the top length either.
Really want red dot with mbus back ups and a bayonet.
Any help or experience would be appreciated.

Can you grind clearance for the critical bayonet?

something to consider is that people who could make use of bayonets don't even use bayonets anymore. You might do some analysis about why the bayonet seems important to you and find that you can alter that priority. Just an idea.

Another thought is that a 590 is already a very very heavy pump. It's the porker of the family. Adding a a full rail just adds more weight. Why not have a quality ghost ring sight set put on it and a short rail on the receiver for a red dot? This would let you keep the bayonet attached so that the gun doesn't feel too light. Just another idea

Be Well and have fun.

Get a Magpul foreend and you can have a side-mounted rail. Then it shouldn't interfere with the bayonet lug. As far as I know.

If you want a short top rail that will fit just on the receiver to mount a red dot I have one that I don't need (and a pistol grip too).

Shoot me a PM if that's what you're looking for... like said above, 590 is a heavy one fully loaded, so you don't wanna be adding more weight if not needed. A bayonet on a shotgun is just overkill, but good for zombies I suppose.
