Full sized animal targets

I'd contact my local print shop and see what they charge to make copies that size.
I looked into getting them to make some long range target faces and the prices were not economical .
We ended up getting some regulation ICFRA targets from the DCRA and from the States a lot cheaper .

I made a plywood pattern and spray paint or print an outline with a sharpie on cardboard or paper
can also use heavy construction paper cut-outs in silhouette too
so many options

economical is subjective

If you have a laptop, and have or can borrow a computer projector, then you can project a silhouette of the critter of choice onto a wall.

For silhouettes, simply google words like "deer silhouette", and click on the "images" tab, and you can get many versions and angles of animal silhouettes. Some are proportionally accurate, some are not. But there are many to chose from.

On the wall you can tape up wide sized sections of wrapping paper large enough for the critter you want.

Use the zoom on the projector lens, or move the projector back and forth to get the scale size you want.

Trace the projected silhouette on paper and cut it out.

Now you have a tracing pattern to trace onto a plywood target. Cut out with a jigsaw. Make a stand for it.

A buddy of mine made a scale moose target this way. He scale sized it to fit the plywood he had. He cut a hole in the heart/lung area, and hung a steel gong in the back of it.

^^ I think that's the technique they used years back to duplicate large steel parts for ships with light projectors, aso...

I love it! Especially the cut out with the gong to determine audible kills/hits. It's awesome! Thanks for this.

I just buy posterboard at $-store - .65c ; then draw my own. ca 20 x 30 inches covers a small deer 'vital points' (6-8" heart/lung), or head & shoulders of a bear. A Moose might take 2x posters. They're also good for a laugh at the range.
And I patch bullet holes with $-store mailing labels until they fall apart. I've got some 'sticky Champions' that I can use if needed, "to be formal".

If I can get them made, they will be used on a shotmarker frame, so the hits will be recorded .
Core plast will need to be used, plywood doesn't work with the Shotmarkers
