Any of you tried these on a norinco?

I think it would look awesome!

They are a fantastic stock. Had a couple many years ago. Boyds made the versions I had. Tough as nails, super stiff, not much fatter than the current plastic black stocks being supplied with the latest batch of Norinco rifles. :)

I've sent messages to Boyd's to bring these back! Nothing heard from them. I even asked them to crank out laminated stock sets for the Garands. Only Dupage in Calif makes the laminated stock. Here's a pic of my Garand in a Dupage stock:

I actually love the laminated stock because you still retain that warm 'woody' feeling (that did not sound right) but gain the stiffness of a fiberglass stock. Now you have the added bonus of the weather resistance forever. :)

Cheers and keep helping them nooobs out there!

If you go on to Boyds web site there is a "Product Request Form" that you/we can request Boyds' to bring back the Laminate series of stocks.

If they receive enough requests they might be akin to bringing back the Nutmeg & Pepper Laminate stocks so we can actally order them again. At least this is what Customer Service @ Boyds' suggested.
