fun .22s with more then 10 magazines

hey, anyone know some fun and reliable preferably easy to clean .22s with decent sized mags legal in Canada?

I'd be leery 'bout givin' this info out, lest the data gets to the folks wanting to prohibit more of our guns.

But that's just me being paranoid 'bout new members first posts of this kind.

Welcome to CGN, none the less.:)

Do you think this is credible? The Feds issued import permits and the RCMP classified them and declared them non restricted. Do you not think 'they' know all about these rifles already?

Having said that I am quite sure semi autos in .22 are on a list for future restrictions. Just another liberal government away. I shudder to think what the NDP would do.

I've always said "paranoia keeps you alive".
I felt the same thing when seeing this first post.

remington 597.
like mine a lot, it's dressed up in an archangel stock.

As someone who owns and loves one,I'm not sure I'd recommend the 597. They seem to be a mixed batch when it comes to shooting reliably. Then there's the gamble of getting a magazine that's not a pile of ####.

I had a 30rd magazine spring go to pieces the first time I loaded it.

That being said I love mine and would never get rid of it but I'd recommend a 10/22.
