Hi, just want to share my experience with reduced loads.
I just discovered the Trail boss powder to make rifle caliber reduced load and it's awesome!
Really easy to load any calibers, very accurate, similar to regular loads. I have searched for a good load to plink not too far from neighbors so, with reduced noise.
30/06 and 30/30 with 110gr rn plated. I have not chonograph them yet but should be under 2000fps.

Thanks, I to have neighbours who arent too pumped on my love of firearms. .22 lr's have become my go to for plinking but lack the oumfff i desire. What would you compare the sound too?

Hard to tell but, maybe half the noise of a full power load. I'm bullseye at 50 and 100m so, I guess I could shoot 150-200 quite well.

Trail Boss is great, definitely my go-to powder for low speed ammo. Have used it in everything from 17 Fireball to 375 Ruger with great results

At one club I belong to we were shooting metallic siloettes with reduced loads and cast bullets, Mainly .308 target rifles. It was a great time.
Trail Boss was my go to powder replacing the old stand by Unique.

Another fan of Trailboss here as well. I have loaded several different chamberings with this powder such as the 30-30,308,30-06 and 303 Br. with what I consider good results.Decent accuracy and very pleasant to shoot.I hope this powder remains in production for the foreseeable future.

Trail Boss and hardcast has been my head shooting chicken hunting load in my .44 for several years now. The old .22rf has been gathering dust ever since.

This thread is great timing for me as I just acquired a couple pds of Trail Boss from the EE and want to make some hardcast loads for my 35 Whelen for chickens.
