I used to get teased because I shoot a 16 SxS and not a 12 pump or semi, but not once they hunted with me. I don't use it because it is superior, I use it because it works for me and puts meat on the table. I haven't found anything like it in a 12 gauge that I can shoot so well with in 30 years of waterfowl hunting. Don't pick on us double hunters! You might get taught a lesson! Lol

Funny you mention that because I started hunting with a 16g sxs as well. But i was smart enough not to take credit for a bird that fell after a third bang, haha. Apparently not all waterfowlers have those same smarts
 
Lol , I am looking forward now to waterfowl hunting �� I am sure with my personality there will be lots of laugh , jokes and digs!!

Oh trust me I have quit shooting on a hunt on more than one occasion when claimers got out of hand. The best moment I ever had was I called to a lone mallard one morning and it swung in for a look. As it passed over the decoys about 30 yards up I threw up my gun and hammered it dead with a single round. It plummeted straight down and when it was about 10 yards away from splash down a fellow who was hunting with us let loose with 3 rounds at it never hitting it once. It hit the water with a huge splash and we hear "Woo-hoo!! Got it!!". Even the other guys couldn't help but look at him like he had escaped from the Psychiatric Hospital in town.......I just turned and looked at him and said" you're not ####ing serious?" but he was!! Needless to say it was his last hunt with us.....
