Some funny wear on my barrel, maybe not but take a look and let me know.
On my stock, black G22 .40 barrel I the black finnish is rubbing off exposing a shiny silver surface. This is most noticeable when looking down at the engraving on the barrel .40 beside along the width of the barrel is a silver line from wear. Also on the side of the barrel my serial number is still engraved but is now getting silvery too. This doesn't trouble me too much.
This is what troubles, the frame of my Glock is getting very worn where the slide meets the frame. Literally where they make contact the frame seems to be getting worn very badly to the point where it's chipping and ripping away to make little threads of plastic.
This picture is terrible, I know but it's hard to get it photographed properly. Please look closely for the area circled in red. What you can't see is the frame in the circled area at it's highest point is getting chipped and worn.
