Fur.....fur and not in a cross hair to be had.
Got plum flustered, so I loaded up and went for a burn.
Today sparks first day open for muley bucks.
They got pointy things sticking out 'tween the ears they iz gewd.
Guess what I saw?

Yup, silly booger stood there and wartch me wartch him.
I gave up, he won the stare contest.

Then a few more, but no pecker's on these.

Couple more. I was hoping the lead one was a buck. A pair of arses on two quads caught up to me and just couldn't do
due diligence. Had to stop behind me and chatter, then scoot by me while I was glassing and stopped again. More yackitty yack.
Then they took off making no quiet about it.
Both furs turned out to be does. I was pensing some nasty chit as I new where their camp was.

No one around, but I had a gallon of water and did my best to put it out.

Couple grouse, but they were quicker than I. Unfortunately, no Ooseydog today.

Some of my back roads I like to meander in were all tore up by some sort of track equipment.
No access to a lake I liked to frequent. Not sure who is doing this or if they are allowed to do so.
Public or common access tore all to pieces. Need to inquire about this.
All in all not a bad day in the bush. Good thing for bringing the henzagg'in. Had to use it a couple times.

Leavin friday for pemberton black tails then north of Kamloops for bucks and spike moose week after.
I take it yer from kamloops ?
 
Yup and that buck was standing in between two signs.
One said, "No Trespassing" and the other, "No Hunting and Shooting".
I was given permission to hunt in that area, but I wasn't sure if I was on the
permission property or not.
I tend to error on the good side.
It would of ruined my day out hunting........... :D
 
gunrunner sure has that correct. last day at work. lions game tonight the leaving for the cabin saturday am. no cell phones no tv no computors. just peace, quite and hunting. maybe a little fishing if the hunting gods smile on me early.

That was on last Tuesday. Wednesday I pressure washed all the muck of poor Zuk.
Then the thing wouldn't start. I figured I got the cap wet. So blow everything off.
No go. Spray some juice into the intake and she popped and burped. Hooked up a psi gauge
to the fuel rail and no psi. Trouble shoot it back to the pump. Yikes. I didn't shut that rascal off
last Tuesday. Don't know why, even my short little walks into the bush I left it running. Pump will
be in tamarra so I'll be out there getting all stinky again.

I had a bath with dish soap in the tub. Whoooooooot, I'm all sqweeekie clean. Can snap me fingers
like a summabiscuit.
