Gents and gals....Looking to a future AR build,once I finish the current toy,....I have looked at grabbing a Daniel Defense 16" from Wolverine,...possibly a ATRS 16" SFW type.....not too concerned with price...what would you suggest?..BTW I am not specifically struck on any brand,..just want a good quality durable barrel....Cheers..

I'm in the same boat your in right now, I'm going to be ordering a barrel for my first AR at the end of the month. I've done a lot of thinking and I've decided to go to ATRS for a barrel, custom length and profile and I can choose the gas system length of my choosing. Just my .02 cents.
I had the same questions about a year ago. After finally deciding on barrel length and profile I decided to go with ATRS. .Never been happier. Barrel is awesome and looks great. Definitely would go that route again without even thinking about it. You won't be disappointed.
The barrel I bought was a (8.5") stainless heavy profile with a pistol length gas system.
