Future IPSC Champion 12 Year Old!

I see a shooter, regardless of age, who is shooting wildly out of control for his ability. I'm not saying that he doesn't ability or potential, but whoever made this video obviously made it with an emphasis on "Show me how fast you can shoot".

+1. Sure he can knock down steel well enough,..the DVC in IPSC should also include safety somewhere....

Change your glasses! Watch the plates and poppers fall or are you suggesting someone else was dropping the plates and poppers. I used to think the same thing until I watched a Master Production shooter go through a stage. If that was Sevigny, Leatham or Tyc shooting you would be going on about his form, speed etc.

The kid can shoot and from what I can see would probably wipe the floor with most B&C IPSC shooters in Canada. We even have a video expert on this thread who knows the kid shot high on several targets ignoring the fact it was a windy day and you can't tell poop where the kid was shooting.

Take Care

Bob

Bob,..I think he was just stating what he can see, and he was not putting you down or the kid in the video. I have to agree that the kid does have potential,...but honestly feel the kid looked out of control at various points in the video. The same could be said about the way I shoot sometimes,.., but I generally try and keep my rounds going downrange. ;)

I watch this tread and some of the comments makes me laugh.
Kid is great, he breaks ninety or not, he has got the moves, and not just the moves,
it is IPSC moves. They way he does transitions, enter the position it is near the Master Class. So, you safety cowboys stop crying, get your kid to the range and make him new Canadian Champ. Mike B. is still waiting for someone to win with him.
Stop whining, hit the range and practice hard.

Kudos to Serbs for promoting a kid. Serbia is slowly become one of the strongest IPSC region with support they getting from their government.
I only wonder, what he has on his hand, something like a strap or something??

Now that is a new one on me........

Sure toss safety right out the window..............great thing to teach kids.

f**king wonderful idea!!

NOT!!

Storm with all due respect what are we talking about here?
Are we talking about breaking safe angles or skills?
Skills are there no one can question this, that Serbian boy can move with pistol like a Master. Is he hitting targets? I don't know because this is only a promotional video, nothing more or less. I don't know what was the idea of this video in such a format.
As for his safety infractions I would advice to call upon Serbian NROI and find out before making any farther silly comments.

its obvious some of his shooting was just for show as he shot too fast unless target were really close but not visible to us....but he did shoot them steel and poppers pretty good !
and in my replay, he did not break 90 at 2:52...he got closer to doing so when he ran to the 2nd shooting section while on the move in same stage, but i don't think he did....
so great to see him out there...
as for the guy down range holding camera... i hope he was wearing full body armor...and every place has their village idiot...

on a parenting note... they should not be teaching kid to show off, as he may grow up to be one of the few obnoxious and arrogant shooters out there... but also can just be a proud pappa and wants to show off his pride... whatever.... we can't really judge fairly unless we're there to know all circumstances...

Keep shooting kid !!! safely ....

People are judging the 90 based on their experiences on ranges where downrange is always the same direction. There are numerous ranges where, as you advance downrange changes. It all depends on where and how berms are constructed. So in reality we have zero idea as to where 90 is though out that example.
And people shouldn't be encouraging their kids to show off? Its a promo video that's what it is for. God. Watch a video on Rob Leatham, Angus, Adam, Eric etc they all have videos where they do stuff they wouldn't do in a match.

oh, re: what seemed to be a strap to support the gun in his hand ? if thats what it was ? if so, is it legal in ipsc.. as it may be considered an advantage or something ? is it with velcro ? cause he has to switch to weak hand it can't be fixed....anyone know ?
