I've never reloaded before.

I'll set you up for what I'm going to use the rifle for.
Fall deer hunt, rare plinking, probably 100-200rds a year through the rifle.
What I want to do is buy a few boxes of commercial hunting ammo, 150gr, use them for plinking and collect the brass to reload for hunting/future plinking. Not looking to save big bucks, or shoot tiny groups, just want to get my foot in the reloading door, save a few pennies and learn.

I plan on buying the Lee Classic, the one where you hit things with a hammer.
A reloading scale, and probably the lee auto prime.
Bullets, primers, powder, no brass though, just using my own once fired brass.

Is all this OK so far? Did I forget anything?
Will I need to size(neck, full length, something else) my brass?

Thanks, I did a search and read mysticplayer's webpage on it, but being a newbie to this, I didn't understand it all.

The Lee Loader? Any particular reason why?

I could see taking one on a hunting or backpacking trip, because they are so small and light. But a Lee Reloader is only a couple of bucks more, and gives you the option of simply buying dies to change calibers, not to mention greatly reduced effort to use ( I imagine: I have never actually used a Lee Loader).

Yes, you will need to size. Count on full length sizing if loading for the M14. You will also need to trim, the Lee trimmer sets work great and cost next to nothing.

Does one set have everything I need?
I was hoping for the lee loader cause I'm cheap and I'm not in a hurry, nor do I have any interest in reloading other calibres at the moment.

On a budget i would buy the $20.00 Lee RGB dies and a cheap press. Lee trimmer costs peanuts. I used to load using only the Lee scoop set, but a scale would give you a lot more flexibility.

"...hoping for the Lee Loader..." No good for a semi-auto. Lee Loaders neck size only. Semi-auto's require full length resizing every time.
"...Does one set have everything I need?..." You need one of the beginner's kits for that.
Buy a copy of The ABC's of Reloading. Your local gun shop or Amazon.

Good advice here. The only thing I may reccomend, at a cost of $20 more than the Lee RGB dies, is buy RCBS small base 308 dies instead. That's what I did, and my 308 reloads work flawlessly in several rifles; semi's and bolts.
