416?? please....
The only reason Barrett came out with the 416 was to get around california law. Everyone gets to keep their guns. They just have to get them rebarreled and they're back in business.
That scope used on the 416 is a 10x Leupold. I don't know if anyone here has ever looked through a 10x scope at a target at 2500yds or whatever they were shooting at but he'd be lucky to see the clearing around that target.
I personally think the 408 necked down to 375 would be a better calibre in a 375 - 400gr bullet. The casing thickness of a 50BMG or even a 416 would be too thick to neck down to anything else without a ton of work.
I agree with the guy that watches the show to see sh!t blow up. I wish they still played that show BOOM BOOM BOOM from spike. At least it had a HOT looking chick on it.
