I think one indication would be the mag release saying reign freedom, not sure if this is 100% accurate but I had a very early one and another years later in life. First one didn't have this on the mag release.

How do you know what gen you have ?

You can find out on their website by putting in your serial number and searching, Its just below the red writing on the right side of their complete upper page

It says that - Please note that if this is the upgrade kit, the GEN 2 feed ramp and roll pin would be added to this kit.

So that was what I was asking if this kit came with the feed ramp and roll pin to run in Gen 1

Then my other question would be if you swap out to the gen 2 feed ramp and roll pin would you be able to use those on the Gen 1 upper or would you be required to swap back to the Gen 1 feed ramp to use your other upper
