I’m sure this has been covered but I’d like to hear everyone opinions on this especially for the guys/gals that own or have owned this rifles already or do now.

I’ve been debating between the wk180c and fx9 and k9, as I’m looking to get something along the ar15 platform. Is there any major issues anyone has come across with these rifles ?? I’ve noticed that that 9mm ammo seems a bit cheaper in bulk than the 223/556, it’ll only be used for fun/target shooting up to 100yrds. I do like the fact that the fx9 barrels can be swapped out tho, as I’m a fan of SBR’s. I’ve heard that the overall quality between fx9 and k9 is that the k9 is more superior in the quality aspect, but correct me in I’m wrong. Can shorter barrels be added to k9s or are they not available in the market yet ??

Both the FX9 and the K9 are good platforms, I can’t speak to the WK as I have no experience with it. The FX9 gives you more barrel length options for sure, and the aftermarket for them is developing nicely and they are getting easier to modify. The K9 does have the option of a 9” upper for the SBR lover lol, and we are starting to see some aftermarket parts showing up which is nice. I’ve shot them both and to me the K9 seems like a more robust build. I’ve been super happy with my shorty K9 platform, it has performed flawlessly in competition, however my buddies with the FX9 love them and they seem to function well once you get them sorted out. Good luck with your decision 👍

Hard to compare two pcc's against an AR180 clone...I've shot all three and own both an FX9 and a WK180c. So the FX9 and K9 are both solid platforms. Both are viable for competition but the K9 has less aftermarket support due to a lot of the system being proprietary. The FX9 has a pretty good amount of aftermarket support, and once tuned which is just throwing another $400-600 into it(recoil system, muzzle device & trigger basically), it runs great and is very reliable.
As for the WK180c, I have had very few issues with mine other than its mag picky. But lots of folks don't like them (usually people still pissed about their AR15 being in prison...as mine is).
There are some other, better 5.56/.223 options in the market, but you get what you pay for with that type of rifle system unfortunately. The Crypto is intriguing due to its wholly compatible with AR15 parts...but I'm in a wait and see on that one. It has promise, especially if you can "manipulate" it to receive non-crypto mags. We shall see what the future holds.
I personally would just rather have my custom AR15 back...

Yes crypto has been a thought as well as Lockhart raven but I can’t justify the cost of the bare rifle itself for just a target/fun rifle is all, then some added features get it upwards of 2500-3000$. I’ve seen k9 as low as 900 on sale, but I know with the 223/556 it’ll do better for 100-200yrds, when the 9mm would likely be better for 100 or less yards.

Never owned a K9 but I've had a gen 1 WK and a FX9.
Avoid the gen 1 and gen 2 WKs entirely. Yes mine broke, so I earned the right to spew hatred. My carrier cracked and took everything else out with it (guide rods, springs, piston). They had a recall when it happened but I was left out - my serial # was less than 10 past their cutoff. So when I asked for a threaded carrier instead of sending another magnetic carrier they forced me to pay out of pocket for the "upgrade". That threaded carrier was a POS, I eventually spent a pile of money on a TNA steel upper that came with a properly machined magnetic charging handle. The gen 3 addresses the major issues with the first 2 gens, and may actually be worth owning. I would let others beta test it before buying one.

The fx9 is decent, but has its quirks. The bolt catch is hit and miss. For alot of people it won't reliably hold open with genuine Glock mags, mine included. Stiffer Wolff mag springs help there, I just stuck to magpul mags. They can be picky when it comes to bullet shapes, particularly hollow points. Round nose and lighter HPs are usually fine, some 147s don't feed reliably. Even after a couple thousand rounds mine still hated weakly loaded ammo. 115gr UMC constantly FTE/jams, couldn't figure out why until I threw a chrono up. Found out it's nearly 200fps slower than other 115s. Hotter round nose ammo is fine. The buffer they use is way too light and has a tendency to fall apart, many of us bump up to heavier buffers which reduce recoil and wear and tear. The stock charging handle sucks, the Warhammer and Nickk's handles are both substantial improvements (I've owned both). For the most part people find them reliable.
I've read that the K9 is somewhat ammo picky as well, but I haven't played with one. There isn't alot of chatter about them, which makes me think they're probably decent.

More rhetorical than a review, but if having a shorty-PCC-on-a-budget is the goal, going with the FX-9 would be a win.

Because FX-9 is the only one of the bunch that can be readily bought in SBR format (restricted). Otherwise it would need buying a non-restricted first, then buying a shorty upper, then the hassle of registering, and lastly selling the long upper (optional, but why keep it if the firearm is now registered?). I also like the idea of buying two FX-9s. One R, one NR = 2x all the parts, all the choices of use (range or woods), all the same ergos and accessories. Similar money to 1x GHM9 for comparison.

Whereas, if buying non-restricted, it's hard to ignore the $ saving with the K9 (FX-9 is 50% more). Enjoy!
