I just wanted to share the knowledge...

I purchased this scope mount on a whim to try to use it on a Norinco M14s and it works very well. It is designed for an Airsoft version of an M14, but works fine on the real thing - and only cost me about $20! :dancingbanana:

I own both a Springfield M1A and the Norinco knock-off. The M1A has the "real" Springfield scope mount on it (which cost me a left nut...) and the Norinco has this cheaper eBay one. The eBay one is great! It is made of machined aluminum and mates well with the Norinco. I thought I was going to have to modify it a bit for fit, but no problems.

I'd be curious about how well it'll stand up to use. In my experience airsoft "metal" is usually pretty sub standard.

Keep us posted how it works out. Or even better, comparison pics between the two.
 
those mounts have been around the block here and the concensus is pure junk.
head on over to the main battle rifle forum.... there's loads of info there to save you folks the wasted cash and ruined scopes that will be the result of using a mount such as the one above.

your mileage may vary as they say :cool:
