FYI - m14/m305 muzzle threading service

Way ahead of you. DLASK turned and re-crowned my chrome lined Polytech barrel about 1 year ago. I sent in a .223 caliber YHM Phantom brake I bought from Fabsports for $30 and had it bored out for .308 so I could obviously use it on my M14. Don't make the mistake of adding a .223 bored brake on the end of your M14 if you're turning a 1/2x28tpi thread on the end of your barrel! (A little warning for the new shooters among us).

FYI Dlask has been doing work to these barrels for the past 4 or 5 years. They are the shop I send every barrel to for the chinese squad rifle barrel work.

Thanks for the info
I wanted barrel cut and threaded but my local club smith wanted $375 + tax for the cut, thread and adjusting gas system

They also reduced my 470mm to 18 3/4" legal length and re threaded the barrell. I had them open up my 5.56 SMITHS Vortex break to .30 cal. As always ... Great Job!!

The squad rifle packages I offer in my dealer forum, include dlask's service for the cut crown thread and any of their 1/2x28 muzzle devices. Dlask has always stood behind me with their assistance and excellent service. It's also good to see them finally believing in the M14 accessory market, a lot of VERY cool stuff could be easily produced from their shop.

barrel chop

I too got my barrel shorten, threaded and I got one of Dlask's xb3 flashiders and gas locks. fantastic work and it was done fast! all i did was remove the stock, took it in and he did the rest.
