Those clear Ruger 10 shot mags do not fit nicely
in the Ruger American Rifles.
They are too frick'n fat.
Not sure whether this local allotment is to blame
or the mass in general.
Take yer rifle with you to try them awn fer size.

i found the same when i picked mine up back in February.

Lil' post about it.

the good news is that both the mag well and the mag are plastic, so after a couple times putting them in and out they 'carve' away the plastic that binds them up.
so either you can assist it with some sand paper or it will make its own path eventually.

mine go in and out of mine fine now.
tight, but fine.

Took it back for a refund.
Will wait until they get a bunch of black ones in stock.
Seem these fit as do the factory installed ones.
