Well every once in awhile a Historic Significant piece falls into your hands .
Aside from the fact a beautiful Condition BSA Long Lee this was accurized and regulated by the famous G.E. Fulton Bisley , then Aquired and presented to

Major General Robert Rennie, CB, CMG, DSO, MVO, VD .
Then Captain 1906 .

Rifle is matching and just endless provenance about Rennie on the internet . Pages and pages available for print . I only took an initial screenshot of his brief history .
Absolutely a National Canadian treasure !!

The DCRA in Ottawa have print records for all their matches. It should be possible to locate all records of this officer's participation in DCRA matches. Similarly, if he shot at Bisley, the NRA of the UK will have the records.
I have a commercial MLE won at Bisley in 1899. He shot at Wimbledon in 1888, as well as in DCRA matches.

Thank you . With my limited knowledge on Milsurps I was extremely happy to have obtained her !
Hi Accumulator. Just a lovely specimen. Both my Dad and his brother were born in Walkerville (Windsor of course) 1910 and 1915 respectively when my Grandfather accepted a job offer by Ford Motor Co. in 1909 with Ford's first Canadian plant. . Its nice to see Hiram Walkers appreciated rifle competitions. I toured the plant myself back in the 1970. I shot once in DCRA Ottawa in 1968 with a Fulton Regulated No. 4 obtained in 1967. The barrel engraving on the Long Lee is most special and unusual. Fultons of Bisley had their shop at Bisley reasonably close to the Canadian House I believe. Fabulous to have such an item. I'm envious. John T.

Fantastic piece of history.
jtaylor, Fulton's is still in the same place at Bisley. I believe the building was disassembled at Wimbledon and moved and re-erected at it's present location at Bisley.
