sure. they are two of the finest pistols ever made. my G19 has well over 20,000 through it (and that's a conservative guess) with zero malfunctions. except user induced ones during training. i run a g19 when i train, with a 26 as back-up. excellent combination. accuracy is relative to the user, and how much you are willing to train. i can easily make head-shots at 25-30 meters, and have no problem hitting small dots (one inch or less) at ranges between 3-10 meters. (yeah i miss my fair share).
i'd say get the 19, the 26 will be harder to find holsters for, due to the extended barrel.
the pistol will be as accurate as you can ask for, and you won't have to spend very much on parts and maintenance, if at all for the first while.
as always, my opinion is worth what you paid for it. i'm a glock guy, and although they may lack the supposed beauty of other brands, not many can argue that they aren't one of the toughest, reliable pistols out there.
