G24 large ring Mauser action

A question for you:

Is it hard to transform a G24 large ring Mauser action into a 6.5x55 SE rifle?
Right now the action is part of a .308 Israeli Mauser.

Barrel suggestion?

Stock suggestion?

The rifle should be small and handy!

How much do you want to spend? Small and handy? Lightweight taper barrel in 6.5, fitted and chambered to your action, LW synthetic (doesn't have to be, but now days they're easier to find then good wood). Bedded to barrel/receiever, drill and tap for scope or irons, or both. That's about a grand, right there, without glass. - dan
