Hi Everyone! Just wanted to let everyone to know that the Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club will be hosting the annual Gagnon Open. It will be a 200 bird event over two days,(June 16&17) All targets are NSCA registered and none NSCA shooters can shoot hunter class. Flight times 9:30 am & 1.30 pm.

Payouts & Draw Prizes: HOA $1000.00
RU $500.00

All Classes Master thru D Class
1st place $400.00 gift card to Gagnon Sports
2nd palce $300.00 gift card to Gagnon Sports


Long Bird Competition Saturday and Sunday

$300.00 First Place
$200.00 Second Place

Attendance Draw
5 flats of 12 gauge ammo



Entry fees for Tournament $180.00 + class oprtions

Is there somewhere to find out about the Ontario shoots further in advance? Interested in getting into shooting competitively but I have been having a hard time finding info.

What does the long bird competition entail?

How do you know which class you fall into? Master thru D? I'm also interested in the long bird comp. What exactly is that?

If your NSCA shooter your already in a class under the NSCA classing system. If your a new shooter in the NSCA you are automatically put into "D" class or known ability, such as skeet and trap shooters that have a classing system simular to the NSCA.
The long bird competition is normally costs between $5.00 & $10.00 for three or four birds that are shot at distances between 40 & 70 yards. At the end of the day the top 8 to 10 shooters shoot of for the prize money. You can play as many times as you want.
