Hello CGN team,

I hope you guys are doing fine. My name is Mohammad-Ali Ozor (yes like the boxing legend :D), I am 24 years old and live in Laval, Québec. Since I was young, my dad always had this passion about guns. He took me many times with him to the gun range and the first time I was about 15 and I could remember the recoil on the handgun. I can't remember what was the type of gun but I think it was a 9mm. Right now he has a S&W .45 Magnum (that gun is HUGE), a Remington 870 MCS and a Ruger 1911.

Honestly, my passion started when I started playing Battlefield. I know usually it's doesn't sound right and it seems like I just want to hold a gun and just shoot. Actually, what I love about this game, is how detailed it is. I love how you can customize your weapons and you could go so deep that you can change the type of bullets on the shotgun. My personal favourite was the Flechette. I learned a lot from this game. I learned how every part of a weapon affects its performance. I mean if you change the standard barrel to a heavy one, the stability changes as well as the accuracy. If you put an ergo grip, fore grip or the angled one, that could also change the way your weapon responses. Even the silencer has a impact.. It's not only the weapon itself that I'm passionate about, it is the whole mechanism.

I did my non-restricted course and now I registered for the restricted one. When I get my license, I would like to buy a handgun first and later a rifle, depending on the budget. I want to learn how to strip it down, clean it, modify it, attach parts.. The mechanism and the engineering are very fascinating. I have a lot to learn and the best way to learn is by practicing. I want to practice my shooting skills, and learn how to really take care of the gun. My dad always told me that the maintenance is most important thing if you want your weapon to last. You know how people treat their cars like their babies? Well I want to do the same with my guns.

I hope I said enough to be accepted here and to gain access to the exchange forums. I am really looking forward to hear from you guys :)

Thank you and have a great day

hey do you know how much time they take to respond? It says 3-5 days but it has been more than 2 weeks already. I dont want to sound impatient but I'm just curious
