Currently there is one 11:45am and two 2:30pm spots open on Saturday. This space will be updated accordingly as shooters cancel/rearrange their squad times.

Registration for our 3rd Annual June 3-Gun Match is officially open. NEW THIS YEAR - Friday evening squads available for those who can't make Saturday! All registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Spots are limited. All registration fees are non-refundable and we will run rain or shine but you may assign your registration to another shooter provided we are given advanced notice. As always, all proceeds from the match are used for new targets, props, gear, etc. for the matches with the remainder being donated to the Galt Sportsmens Club.

We are using Practiscore to register shooters and for match scoring. You can self squad by going to the link posted below.

Please note: PAYMENT IS VIA EMT ONLY (send to galt3gun@rogers.com) AND YOU MUST USE THE PASSWORD multigun. IF YOU HAVE SENT US AN EMT IN THE PAST, BE ADVISED THAT YOU MAY NEED TO UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD ACCORDINGLY. EMT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOU SQUADDING - IF YOU HAVEN'T PAID VIA EMT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SQUADDING OR IF YOU FAIL TO USE THE PASSWORD PROVIDED YOU WILL BE DELETED FROM YOUR SQUAD.

Date: Friday June 5th - Saturday June 6th, 2015 (please choose one date or the other)
Location: The Galt Sportsmens Club
Squad times: Friday 5:30 pm. Saturday 9am, 11:45am, 2:30pm
Cost: $65, EMT galt3gun@rogers.com , please set password to: multigun
Requirements: holster qualification (Black badge, CDP, or similar)
Stages: 4 in total, details to follow
Scoring: Rules and divisions located at www.galt3gun.ca . We will be using Practiscore to compile results.

So far no one has signed up to shoot Friday evening and there are only a couple of Saturday spots left.
If you are new to 3gun, Friday might be a perfect time to come out and give it a try - we are very newbie-friendly and Friday evening would be a great opportunity to come out and have some fun without the pressure of the "big dogs" in your squad ;)

I live about a 5-10 minute drive from Galt Sportsman's Club. I wish I could afford to join, but their rates are a little out of reach.

You don't need to be a Galt member to shoot in these matches.

They welcome everyone with an ATT and a holster card.

Well shooters, the date is getting closer! The stages are ready, the volunteers are ready, we hope you are ready too!

Minimum round counts are as follows: rifle 33, shot (size 6-9.5 only please) 28, slugs 2, handgun 30. As stated, these are absolute MINIMUM numbers so unless your name starts with Jerry and ends with Miculek, you are going to need a lot more than that (and even Jerry would be wise to bring a few extras).

As always, no ammo with steel in the projectile...if a magnet sticks to your projectile, automatic DQ, no debate.

Our rules and divisions can be found at galt3gun.ca . All stages have a 180second par time.

There is still an open spot available at 11:45am and a couple at 2:30pm as well. Banger can't make it and his spot at 11:45am is also available. So if you know anyone who wants in, there is still time!

We have some cool draw prizes to give away - we will be drawing names for the prizes 15 minutes before your scheduled squad time so if you want to get in on winning some cool stuff, be suited up and ready to rock 15 minutes before your squad time. If you're not ready, you're not eligible to win! Our sponsors Select Shooting Supplies, North Eastern Arms, The Marathon Watch Co., and Xylotek Solutions Inc. deserve special mention.

Understatement of the year! You guys always put in a ton of work and throw some uber-fun matches. Thank you for adding a lot to the fun factor "back home"... Next time I visit, I'll definitely beg, borrow or steal 3 toys to join in on the fun (ok not the last one, but the other 2 for sure :cool:)

Thanks Dexter. I wasn't thinking specifically about the 3Gun Competition, I was just thinking that since it is so close it would be an incredibly convenient club to belong, but on a military pension, it is priced out of my reach.

(I make the commute down to EESA.)
