Talking with fellow moose hunters who have been hunting north of Bisset, and bear hunters around Manigotagan the grouse numbers have been the highest anyone can remember. I spoke with two guys from different hunting camps who said they were seeing over 100 birds/day. Another fellow was up near Manigotagan and was out for grouse and counted over 125 birds in one day.

Not that this means jack,,but alot of guys were saying the same thing this year in Northern Ont. Was up to the Sudbury area last weekend,,typical form, shot 3,, that's all I saw.
