I have never seen anything firearm related at garage sales around here since the 90s.

It also seems rare to find anything metal (tools or otherwise) at garage sales these days that is not rusted into oblivion.

Not me, but a buddy just picked up an old excel break action 12 gauge for $40. $20 extra to a weekend gunsmith guy we.know for a new to us firing g pin and she runs great! From the serial number we figure it's from the 1920's.
