Does anyone know of any shop or gunsmith that does work on Garand rifles and/or M14, including re-barreling, tuning up etc. in Canada
Any info much appreciated - Thanks
 
In a word no. But, I had good luck swapping parts after reading the manuals. Jason at Gunco in Ottawa changed the pitted 30-06 barrel for an aftermarket 7.62 barrel without any troubles.

There are many 'stickies' on the Battle Rifles forum that will give you tips on what and how to improve your M14.
 
PM Scott... M39A2 on here.. He works with a smith that accurizes M14 / M1's. He did a great job on my M14 and Im sending another 14 and my M1 to him in the near future.
 
"...work on Garand rifles and/or M14..." They ain't the same thing. Which one do you want to play with? And an M305 isn't an M14 or an M1A.
