So I'm not having any luck at all sourcing barrels for my Breda M1 Garands. I have been able to find a couple of us military barrels to replace them with.Ohhh I hate to do this but would really like to use these old rifles. The barrel numbers available are SA 12-54,1-55,2-55 and SA 51,52. Which would be the better ones to get, they are still in their wrapping. And no I haven't seen them personally yet. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

The Danes used both US made and the Danish made VAR barrels as replacements on their Garands. They may well have used some Italian Breda and Beretta barrels as well.

At one point I purchased three NIW SA49 and a NIW SA52 marked barrel which had come in with the lot of Garands and spares from Denmark. I believe that there were even some new Marlin barrels in this same lot. The VAR barrels I have owned are dated 1959, 1961, and 1966.

The Breda rifles were all made in 1954 and 1955, so really any vintage of barrel would be an appropriate replacement.

Haven't run across any yet,but then haven't been looking for match grade after seeing the high cost of the american match barrels for just a shooter.
