At the risk of getting bombarded with PM's, I am hoping to find out the going rates for some garand parts I have left over from my build a few years back. Prices I have seen tend to range drastically in price, or sell to quickly for me to see what the asking price was. I hope to get some idea of a reasonable price to request for the following before posting in the EE;
SA complete trigger group - stamped trigger guard
SA Op Rod
Without said parts currently in front of me, I cannot be sure on dates, but if memory serves me both were wartime manufacture. Both were re-parkerized by Nick at Vulcan and he confirmed the Op Rod is to spec (ie, not bent) so they both appear "new", with the exception of the floorplate of the trigger group which shows signs of MINOR pitting under the new finish (I cheaped out on having him fill in the pitting as this trigger group was my spare). I understand that a picture is worth a thousand words, but any ball park ideas on a fair asking price from my description? I have seen a few trigger groups listed at $300 and op rods at $175...
