I just recently acquired a Sept 1942 Garand. She needed a serious cleaning and I spent quite a bit of time on her. In the process I found the barrel was marked 42. It is worn but not bad. Anyways, I'm looking for a rear sight assembly. It came with a scope/mount that had a cap screw where the pinion usually is so I need the whole kit n' kaboodle.
I've done a search on here and found a post that mentioned Fulton Armory. I'm checking out their website but I'm curious where you guys get your parts from. From what I've found these rifles had the long pinion locking bar type II sight. That's what I'd like to find. Any advice?
