Hi there
I just acquired a beautiful Garand from a fellow here,
After initial inspection, I attempted to field strip it, (and as I have done so with others, I know how
)
anyway,
I cocked, checked, closed, safetied, and Hurrrrgh!
the trigger guard WILL NOT BUDGE.
I'm a fairly strong fellow, and for the life of me, I can't get the darn thing to flip up..
i've tried firmly bumping the guard towards the rear, ... i just don't know..
has anywone else experienced this?
my hand is killing me.
what do I do?
it's in pretty great order as it is, so if I can't strip it for a while I won't freak out...but jeez...
