hey everybody, i have the option of buying a Breda Garand, it is partially matching, stock looks really good, it has been used. So my question is, what is a reasonable price for it. and what are some things i should look out for?

Sounds like a Dane rework. What it's worth, depends on a lot of things. Is the bore decent, pitted or worn is a major factor. The mix master of parts, is pretty normal. Are there any accessories, like sling, bayonet/scabbard, cleaning kit, ammo bandoleer etc? Has the stock been replaced with a Beech wood replacement?

If it has a Walnut stock, there isn't any rust or pitting inside or out and it has a decent bore, $750 to $1000. Condition is everthing, when it comes to milsurps. Without pictures it's impossible to give you a more exact price. It may even be worth less.

Not all matching reduces value considerably .... ;)

Pics are the best way to advise value ....
