I see that most holsters/mag pouches are made for either 1-3/4" or 2-1/4" belts, and so I've been trying to look for a relatively inexpensive belt that would go with my 1-3/4" holster.
I understand that the duty belts are mostly 2-1/4" and are meant to be used with a smaller, inner belt by way of velcro?
There are also leather or nylon Garrison belts that are about 1-1/2" or 1-3/4" in width. I take it these can be used as an inner belt to support the larger duty belt, or used by themselves for the holsters/accessories that have 1-3/4" loops?
My situation is that I'm thinking of standardizing all my holsters and accessories to 1-3/4", but does this mean I can't use a duty belt, but just a Garrison belt?
If anyone has any suggestions for a brand or belt system, that would be much appreciated!
