Garrison larger safe vs smaller one

Depends on how you store them. Laying flat? Flat in tiers? Vertical set at angle? Possibilities are numerous. I have one of the mid size and it'll hold 8 in various positions...

In the larger safe I can store 4 pistols and 8 mags. I use mouse pads between the pistols. Put 2 down below and 2 above

I bought a cheap Chinese rifle safe (21" wide x 16" deep), then cut a 14" board into a bunch of square pieces (largest I could fit through the door), drilled holes in the corners, and slipped 3/16 threaded stock through the holes, holding the boards in place with nuts and washers. Plastic foam around the stock keeps it from scratching my guns. I have fifteen shelves with about four inches between them -- lots of room for future expansion. There is also room at the side to put in rifles if I ever decide to buy some.

Do NOT buy a safe one step up fom what you have now. Next year you will have to buy another. :cool:
 
I was just looking at them today in CT, seemed a reasonable price. Everyone pretty happy with them? I only seen the one size, what are the model numbers of the bigger and smaller one??
