Gas block for Norinco

Hi guys, looking for advice on a problem I'm having with my Norinco. I removed the stock A post sight/gas block and installed an aftermarket gas block. Problem is this gas block stay in place and moves forward enough to cause the gas tube to move and cause issues with the rifle ejecting and feeding ammunition. Can someone recommend a good gas block I can install that won't move.

If you properly secured the gas block and gas tube, neither should move under normal usage. Did you use the correct size gas block ie did you buy a 0.750" block for a 0.625" barrel? Did you install the roll pin in the gas block/tube when you installed the gas tube into it? What is the type of block is it ie clamp on, set screws or pinned?

I did buy the correct size and it it the set screw style. I think if I go to clamp style this may solve my problem.

You should have just cut down the pinned on front sight base. Zero issues then and it just cost some time.

Mark the barrel where the set screws touch then drill small indents into the barrel for the set screws to recess into.
