I was fiddling around doing some gas checking and sizing of some powder coated .30 cal bullets this morning. I have Hornady and Lyman .30 checks. The Lyman weighed around 3.4gr -or +. Hornady weighed 4.2gr - or +. I actually have some "IDEAL" .30 checks, from the Lyman Co.

Five of the little .22 cal flashing checks weigh 2.9-3.0gr.

I'll keep this in mind next time I'm loading some rounds for the Olympics. :p

My Hornady copper .30 cal are roughly 4 grains. My other surprise, my 150 grain .312 are actually 160gr . Would using pure WW lead cause that?
